Aliki

Aliki is actually a 3 for 1 deal as there are a pair of beaches back to back and an archaeological site too. The main one that you come to first is just 250m long and very narrow, it has a selection of tavernas at the rear, most of which offer free sun loungers.

Agios Ioannis

Agios Ioannis is a semi-private beach on the south coast, it's not actually private but as there's nothing else in the area and at the rear of the beach is the huge Thassos Grand Resort Hotel people staying there tend to make up the majority of beachgoers.

Skala Maries

Skala Maries, also known as Skala Marion is a relatively small and compact harbour and beach resort on the west coast of Thassos. It's a beach lovers paradise as it’s actually based around 3 good sandy bays. giving you a choice of beaches whilst staying here.

Skala Kallirachi

Skala Kallirachi is a harbour and fishing village with great views over the Aegean sea, on a clear day you can even see the mainland. It's a quiet village that's not been taken over by tourists, despite that there is plenty of shops, tavernas and restaurants.

Skala Sotiros

Skala Sotiros is a delightful little harbour village on the west coast of Thassos. It's small and quiet with a little beach, a good choice of hotels, a handful of bars and restaurants around the water front as well as a bakery and supermarket.

Theologos

Theologos is a traditional village built into the natural beauty of the Thassos hillside. Once the capital of the island, now it's a small village with winding cobbled streets that's lovely to spend a morning or afternoon exploring and enjoying the scenery.

Prinos

Prinos is the largest Olive growing village on the island and the local oil and honey can be purchased at the open air market in the town square every Monday, as well as these goods there are locally caught fish, fresh fruit and veg and household goods.

Rachoni

Rachoni is perched on the side of the mountain up in the north west of Thassos. It’s not a developed tourist village but a tranquil place to take in the surroundings. If you’re visiting Rachoni be sure to head to the central square for a drink or some lunch.

Skala Panagia

Skala Panagia, also known as Chrysi Ammoudia is a gorgeous beach resort on the east coast and surrounds the northern end of Golden beach. As you head south it blends into Skala Potamia so visiting both at the same time is definitely possible.

Skala Potamia

Skala Potamia, sometimes known as Chrisi Akti is based at the southern end of Golden beach on the east coast of Thassos. It's ideal for a family beach holiday and there’s no shortage of hotels and a wealth of tavernas and restaurants to choose from.
